About Motive Art
The idea that I am trying to put forward in this whole initiative is that I see the artist as having a very important role because the artist has a voice through which they can speak. Commentary is good but we need to go further than this. Today we need action and I believe that we can act through our art and I would like to assist artists to be heard. This is what Motive can do.
So what is Motive?
Motive is an independent organization dedicated to working with professional artists, writers and actors and other like mined contributors and registered charities as a cyber community to develop and maintain positive change and awareness through art.
Motive is an initiative that unites artists and helps their voice be heard.
It is about the role of the artist in society
Motive promotes the social responsibility of artists to use their art to raise awareness of specific social issues and to constructively engage their audience to provide effective assistance.
Our work involves:
Researching the issues and exploring methods of engaging public support for art-based solutions.
Informing the public and engaging in constructive debate concerning social issues and positive action.
Fostering dialogue between people to explore creative solutions.
Promoting education using art and web technologies.

Every artist has a vision within them that makes them create a personal statement. Motive is encouraging artists to contribute, in whatever capacity they can, but make that personal statement mean something more than a comment. Make it mean a change. Make it mean raising awareness and money to help what ever cause is important to the individual artist in what way that person can.
Motive is a democratic, self-governing initiative and does not support or oppose any government or political system, nor does it support or oppose the views of those it seeks to assist. Motive is concerned solely with supporting projects that benefit society.
